ANIME

Anime (pronounced "annie-may") is the Japanese word for any kind of cinematic animation.
Doga and Japanimation are also words that in the past have been used for this art form, but Anime is now the preferred term.

We at Laughing Dog have been producing the English language "dubs"  of Anime for years.

 Anime credits include:

Grave Of The Fireflies, Ayane's High Kick, Poltergeist Report,  Strange Love, Wrath of the Ninja, Yotoden, RayEarth Vol.s 1,2,3,  Twin Angels, GhostSweeper

We've developed a true love for the great images and story lines available in these works. I guess you could say at this point we've become "Otaku" (die-hard fans of Anime). We enjoy making the English language versions of the programs for the growing number of fans in America, and have devised a variety of procedures guaranteeing great dubs that preserve the original performances and intent of the Japanese creators and producers. There's nothing worse than a poor dub that detracts from a great foreign film of any kind, and every Anime project we work on gives us the opportunity to make the adaptation of these special films more extraordinary.
